ABOUT US
It was way back in 2007 when Tina got a hankering to create a social club, based on the concept of reading a book a month. Yes a book club, a real live book club! Soon after our initial meeting at a sushi bar in deep Marpole we decided on our first read, "A Complicated Kindness" by Miriam Toews.
Thereafter it was decreed the club would gather at member's homes on a monthly basis, with dessert and snacks provided by the host and wine contributed by the members. The undrunk bottles wine were carefully packed in "the wine bag" and passed on to the next host. Somewhere over the years that fine dollar store bag was lost but perhaps someday it will resurface.
Our club consists of an interesting group of characters always ready to have a great evening together. We even talk about the book we read.
